Company set for expansion of Office 365 and cybersecurity solution sales in Europe

GULF BREEZE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 14, 2019-- AppRiver, a Zix (NASDAQ: ZIXI) company and leading channel-first provider of security, productivity, and compliance solutions, recently announced that Paul Balkwell, senior director of channel sales in the United Kingdom and Ireland, will now lead the company’s channel sales efforts across all of Europe.

Balkwell, who joined AppRiver in 2018, will lead teams that oversee the rapid expansion of AppRiver’s Indirect Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) Program which will offer Microsoft Office 365 alongside AppRiver’s suite of world-class cybersecurity solutions that help businesses protect against security threats and meet compliance standards, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Balkwell brings more than two decades of leadership experience in driving technology sales and partner programs. According to Chris Essex, AppRiver’s senior vice president of global sales, he is also a self-starter with the ability to motivate and inspire individuals and teams to perform at the next level.
